Michael Bowers has worked as RCRMC’s Hospital Safety Officer for nine years. In addition to his regular work responsibilities, Mike serves on the steering committees for developing a Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) for Riverside County, Western Riverside Emergency Council (WREC), Riverside County Emergency Operational Area Planning Committee (OAPC) and the Riverside County Bioterrorism Advisory Committee (BTAC).
Mike was raised in a suburb of Syracuse, New York. Upon graduating from high school, he attended Onondaga Community College majoring in fire protection technology. In December 1994, Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Brockport. Currently, he is working on his Master of Science degree at California State University, San Bernardino.
