2006 RCRMC
had
the
privilege
of taking
part
in the
13th
Annual
Mead
Valley
Festival
hosted
by Supervisor
Bob
Buster
on Saturday,
July
1, 2006.
For
the
first
time,
the
Festival
had
over
60 booths
that
provided
information
on services
available
to the
community.
This free
community
event featured
health and
safety education,
injury prevention
materials,
and information
on services
available
to the residents
of Riverside
County.
The City
of Riverside
Fire Safety
House, American
Medical
Response
Ambulance
Services,
and Riverside
Police Department
all had
emergency
vehicles
on display
at the Festival.
Families
enjoyed
the bike
safety show;
children
who brought
their bikes
and participated
in the safety
course received
a free bike
helmet.
Other activities
included
free fingerprinting
made available
by RCRMC’s
Abuse Services
Department.
Family and
friends
enjoyed
a fun filled
day!
