|Loma Linda Pediatric Physicians at RCRMC|
Moreno Valley, California, Monday, November 15, 2010 – Riverside County Regional Medical Center (RCRMC) is pleased to announce their affiliation with the department of Pediatrics at Loma Linda School of Medicine. The physicians that provide services at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) will now be providing care at RCRMC.
Since 1893, RCRMC (formerly know as Riverside General Hospital) has served as a vital resource to the residents of Riverside County, providing the highest standard of health care.
As a Level II Trauma Center for adults and pediatrics, RCRMC receives nearly half of the county’s trauma patients; provides over half of the uninsured healthcare for the county and provides a variety of specialty care with over 70 clinics to treat inpatients and out-patients. As a teaching facility, RCRMC offers a full range of medical education, thereby producing trained physicians, nurses and allied health professionals.
The California Children’s Services Certified (CCSC) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at RCRMC contains 32 beds which care for babies who are born requiring care from specialty trained physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and other personnel.
RCRMC Outpatient Clinics are available to provide specialty care to babies who were in the NICU and require follow up, or developmental care, after going home. RCRMC also has a Pediatric Clinic providing well child care and minor emergencies that can be handled in an office setting.
RCRMC’s commitment to providing high quality healthcare has remained constant. Countless people have turned to RCRMC in times of medical need. In providing these vital services, RCRMC has continued to set the standard for compassionate, professional health care.
