Continuing Education Opportunities at Riverside County Regional Medical Center
RCRMC is an approved provider of Nursing Continuing Education (BRN Approved Provider number: 511). We provide various opportunities throughout the year for nurses and other providers to obtain continuing education credits for license renewal.
In addition to offering all of the American Heart Association courses we also host seminars such as the Weapons of Mass Destruction EMS training, a multidisciplinary Trauma Update series, as well as classes in dysrrhythmnia management and chemotherapy. While these classes are directed at our own staff, non-employee providers are welcome to attend as a space available basis for a modest fee. Information about upcoming classes can be obtained from Education Services at 951-486-4480. Many classes fill up quickly so advanced planning is important.
RCRMC offers online learning opportunities. You can access our online learning system here: On-line Learning Modules
While some of these modules offer continuing education credit, other are designed to be short, focused, and practical presentations for our staff. Non-employees are welcome to view them, however they do not qualify for continuing education. The system is currently under development and additional classes and CE credit opportunity will be available soon. |
